Bindery Equipment
Rebuild – We can do your rebuild onsite or at our
location.

The machine is first completely disassembled to the Frame. The complete Frame and
all sub- components are cleaned, degreased and repainted as necessary to achieve
an “as-new” appearance. Any Panel Cover or Enclosure that exhibits minute
or no signs of wear or damage is cleaned and reinstalled ''as-is''. Every Shaft
is removed, inspected and replaced as required by Original Equipment Manufacturer
parts or remanufactured to strict OEM specifications in our machine shop. Sprockets
and Gears are removed, inspected and any sign of wear exceeding 10% of their original
new condition are also replaced with new OEM parts. All Belts and Chains are automatically
replaced with new parts unless there is evidence they have been replaced within
approximately the last 100 hours of machine running time. All components, major
and minor, are removed, inspected and checked to insure they meet stringent OEM
tolerances. The Primary Drive Motor is completely rebuilt with new Bearings, Seals
and Gaskets and the Armature is checked both electrically and mechanically to insure
it is in optimum condition. All Oil Lines, Air Lines, Fittings, Restrictors and
associated components are replaced as needed. The machine is then reassembled and
all Lubrication Lines are terminated to their appropriate delivery point, bled and
finally checked for correct flow and pressure as dictated by OEM specifications.
The completely rebuilt machine is finally reinstalled, retimed and test run in your
existing line. Completely rebuilt machines are covered by a six month parts only
warranty that goes into effect on completion of the final installation. Unless other
arrangements are negotiated and documented in writing, this warranty is extended
only if the machine is either installed or the installation is inspected and approved
by Jim Macke Bindery Machine Service, Inc.

Bindery Equipment Reconditioning
– Our qualified technicians can recondition your equipment with a minimal
amount of down time.
A complete inspection will be performed and any part, including but not limited
to, Main Shafts, Chains, Sprockets, Gears and/or Bearings that exhibit signs of
wear in excess of 25% will be repaired or replaced as necessary. All missing or
damaged parts will be replaced. The units will be test run in our shop and the reconditioning
process will result in this equipment being in above average condition. After reconditioning
these units will be covered by a thirty day parts only warranty that goes into effect
on completion of the final installation. Unless other arrangements are negotiated
and documented in writing, this warranty is extended only if the machine is either
installed or the installation is inspected and approved by Jim Macke Bindery Machine
Service, Inc.
